The entire no-trade and no-PVP focus in 2007, accompanied by the modifications to the mechanics of Evolution of Combat RuneScape Gold, just changed RuneScape into something that never appeals to me. It is a diluted MMORPG, trying to be something more than it actually is.
The truth is that if RuneScape had been similar to the game before the Grand Exchange, I would have played it in a variety of ways while watching TV and other similar shows. In the end it was, they ruined what I liked in favour of making the game better and it wasn't for me any more. Ironically, OSRS is something that I'd still love if I could return.
My issue is that I'd need to start over again, and for players with a character that was most active during the OSRS days, it is difficult to move my account to OSRS (as far as I know). I was afraid of what you are afraid, but after I started playing Skilling, I became hooked. I quit the day after RS3 was released and have not logged back in to rs3.
I have a Max combat account, and a few 99s in it. I am aching of doing it over in 07, but it's also nostalgic to train again and get the Rush getting better. While it's a pain to start over, once I started playing, I couldn’t stop. Mobile has definitely helped. It's so easy to play from anywhere Buy OSRS Fire Cape. It's great to be able skill while on lunch break.
